Hitting 4 Months at IRAS

Finally got my hands on my permanent staff pass at IRAS with my picture on it. Counting on today, I will be hitting on almost 4 months of work at IRAS already. time really passess and work is much more challenging than I thought. But then, I even have a clearer picture of what I want to do in life. Going to resume my part time studies this coming january, its a long break since I had stopped studying at NYP. I just hope my study mechaism would still be clicking.

Ministry work is even more challenging. Vision is to see every caregroup at every camp! But how many brothers are truly willing to die for this vision. I should say only a handful! God, use me to bring this vision to those not yet being consumed by this vision. We need to double up our efforts if we want to see this vision come to past.

Recently, read the newspapers and saw many old folks are being dumped in old folks home or being left unloved. I believe the moral values of this society are decaying as children or individuals are more focus on their own needs like; getting the latest handphone, where should i go for holiday and their costly lifestyle. And thus, with these commitments, many individuals are not able to take care of their own parents. Its quite sad to see that their children are not even able to take care of your own parents. I believe taking care of your parents is one of God's command to us where he stated in one of the 10 commandments which is to honor our parents.

We should not be living costly lifestyle as this would lower our avaliable income to support our parents, we need to honor our parents.

Thank God the government is doing something about that now.

First week at work was really fun!

Met alot of new people and really interesting people.

Would want to thank my trainer there rehka for teaching me so many things about my job and without those knowledge, I dont think I would be able to do my job properly, so a million thanks to you rehka!

Working life is really busy as I coped the first week with a lack of sleep and lack of time to do other sutffs like my ministry and personal interest.

Need to learn more on how to manage my stuffs with the inclusion of working life. God, need your help!

During the movie, there were times whereby my tears were almost coming out.

I realise Jesus went through so many things to save us from Sin.

Got the Job at IRAS

I want to dedicate my current entry to God. Because I have been starting to look for a job like 1 1/2 months ago and I got very few offers. Some offers are really low that it would not be very productive of me to take on that job as I have to support myself financially and also to support my university fees.

I really prayed to God for a job that can see me thru this stage of my life station comfortably and he really answered my prayer and gave me a job at iras.

The offer just came in too timely. Can't be a concidence, it can be only God.

Thank God for such a blessing. Now I can support myself and add on to your kingdom.

Service Ytd was supberb! The drama team did another wonderful job!

Jin Peng came to service and got to share with him more about Jesus. After dinner, played 4 hours of Left 4 Dead with him! Haha, this session really opened him up and I am able to chat with him on more areas. I think this is definately fruitful and productive. Haha.

Got to clean up the house and hang my clothes already. Haha

Hectic Week

Had a hectic week as I am in camp for my stocktake preparation and there are alot of things to be done.

Recently, found out my mum has been serving as a those people who would follow up with the new believer after altercall. (Dont know what is that called), but really proud of her!

Ytd's corporate prayer meeting is really refreshing as I sang and prayed until my throat was really dry.

Hope I will get the Job at IRAS.

Brought the book twilight!

After watching the movie twilight, i wanted to find out more about the story from the book therefore i wanted to go to a bookshop to buy that book.

However, i cast upon a second hand book store at plaza sing during dinner and i brought it at $12.50 and have the chance to sell it back to the store at $7 if I can complete it within a month. Helps me to save alot of money.

I am really Glad that God is blessing my caregroup and unit so so so much. Yesterday I witness lionel's friend - Charles, cross the line of salvation. Thank God for your blessing and we really honor you with all that you had blessed us.

I can feel the evangelistic engine in my people are moving and they are sharing the burden that stays with me for quite some time already, the burden of wanting more people to come to know who Christ is. There is a definition of evangelism which states - It means sharing the gospel with people yet to know Christ and yet leaving the results to God.

Caregroup was really great as we continue to build on our identity that we never had before! Thank God for using me as your vessel to build your kingdom.

Recently, there have been so many events going on here and there and I realise, I havent have a personal time lately to really relax myself and to reset my personal objectives. I really hope I can do this sometime very soon.

On MayDay, Roy,Yi Heng, Qamarul and I went to take part in the l4D competition organised by youth DNA and we lost at the semi finals. Although we didint win, but this competition gave me a opportunity to bond with my buddy Qamarul and also to know Roy and Yi Heng even better. It is indeed a blessing in disguise.

Today, had a fruitful core team meet with Roy and Donovan and we dicussed alot of stuffs regarding the caregroup and I always like to hear alot from them and they indeed gave me alot of valuable and good feedback! Thanks Guys! Lets me TNSB2 a caregroup for Christ!

Part 2: New Creation Pastor Gets $500k Annual Salary

I got an interesting comment from someone on my tag board (you can refer to it) and perhaps my first entry isn't enough to bring across this matter to the readers of my blog.

Lets go into this story again.

1) I have no issues on pastor earning a comfortable salary (enables them to have lodging, food, clothing, entertainment, communication, travelling comfortablably) but how much is too much? And how less is how less? Haha. Personally, I am not sure about the exact figure but we can learn from similar industry payout for this. Take for example; the ceo of NKF (reported in the newspaper), she earns about approximately 10k per month. Perhaps this figure is a good gauge for church boards to give their pastors who is leading a big church comparable to a big non-profit organization like NFK?

2) Pastor prince did account for 95% of the revenue for his church and therefore it is justifiable to reward him accordingly. Yes, he does deserve the reward like how God blessed solomon. But should we apply more wisdom in this area? Especially the economic is not doing well and many people are losing their jobs. What would they think about a pastor earning so much? Among christians, we maybe more understandable but how about non-believers. It would be a good opportunity for them to question the financial management of the church. Or they would question, times are so bad, how come their pastor is earning so much? Its your take on how you think about this. Haha.

3) This is my suggestion on how the money could be used in a more kingdom minded way. We could had used the money to donate to charities and especially help those who are in need in these current times (the bible says faith without deed is dead), i am not saying the church did not do anything but if your church has the capability to do more, then do more. Haha. Supporting church planters overseas are also a good way. As most of them do not receive any monetary support from their mother churches, we should even help them more financially, so that they can concentrate on doing God's work.

After saying so much, the thing i want to bring across is wisdom in handling this matter. We are on this earth still because we are in the process of finishing the great commission. And there are so many people not come to know Christ yet. Would this be a stumbling block to christians like you and I who are trying our very best to spread the gospel or would it be (like what member from hope SG tagged) be a free publicity to the church and attract more people to come to receive salvation. If this is so, AMEN! Haha.

I do not know the answer for now, but in months to come, we will see the outcome.

New Creation Pastor Gets $500K

Read this newspaper article today and got intrigue by it.

New Creation Pastor Earning $500k last year.

If you chance upon the straits times forum, you can see some people defending this pay(obviously from new creation) but lets hear from what my views are.

Why God told the israelites to give offering to the levites in the bible is because the levites do not sow on any land and they are fully responsibile of the ark (like maintaining it) and the offerings are to help the levites go by to day to day living and survival to ensure they are taken care of their needs.

The average big non-profit organisation ceo earns about 8 to 10k per month (even nkf and children society ceo earns about this), I dont understand why new creation has to remmuerate their pastor with such a high figure (500k per annum, 41.666K per month) Almost four times the amount.

There are new creation members talking about how well recieved was pastor prince in other countries like us,europe and even appeared on their tv but we are talking about doing God's work. So do us christians hope to earn more money by spreading the gospel? I believe most of us would not think like this? I believe the salary of the pastor should be capped and (people would say no motivation) but talking about God's kingdom, the motivation should not be from material holdings but by the prompting of the Holy Spirit. THAT SHOULD BE THE SOURCE OF MOTIVATION!

I do hope the new creation board can reflect wisely on this decision made as it definately not very accomodable with many christians.

I believe the money can be used more wisely like supporting church planters and also people living in poverty.

Unit Gathering at Jacob's Place

Its been about 2 months since I had blogged and this also indicates how busy I was really. The last two months has really been hectic for me as there are alot of work to do in camp and also in my pastoral ministry. Haha. Sometimes I just want to just sleep it through and don't do a thing but I realise I can't because there are still alot of sheeps waiting for me to feed them so I can't. Haha.

Really thank God for all the help these months because there are some issues that me sheep faces whereby I dont have the direct solution but God through his help gave me the answer so that I can help me sheeps!

I can started to see some fruits of my group growing as members in my group starting to have the same vision as I had which is also the same vision of the church. Really want to affirm Roy and Donovan as they are my core team members who supported me all the way and without their help, I dont think my group can be managed that well. Haha.

Last saturday, we had our first unit gathering of the year at jacob's place and it was so much fun! Because its been a long long long long time since our unit had gathered for such a programme and also really get to know people that I didint know that well like jin hui and ghim yong. Haha

We also celebrated Donovan's birthday, we blindfolded him through a decoy ice breaking game and surprised him.....(the pictures will tell you the story)

Today i made a breakthrough by going out for a jog!

I had many temptations asking my not to go, just stay at home and watch tv but I think I have to do something about my weight.

I want to lose weight.

First Entry of the YEAR!

Wow, Its my first entry for the YEAR 2009.

Usually people have a relaxed schedule for during the last month of the year but its 180 degrees turnaround for me. I had one of the busiest month of the year last month and at times really finding hard to find time to relax myself or for my personal time.

Was involved in drama for church and although the schedule was super packed and the process is demanding (hint: director), I took out more than what I put in actually. I learn how to stretched myself to another level and also to have the spirit of excellence even when I am very tired. Am also glad that the drama help to impact new believers and to educate them in an entertaining channel about the beginning steps of being a christian and leading a christian life. During the last drama, I had to live and narrate with the pain of my sore throat and then i came to realise that what the bible says is really so real. As in "For when I am weak then I am strong". I came to realise that when I am doing with my sore throat, I wasn't on my personal best and I learnt to depend on God for me to do my best for my part.

The year also ended with me appreciating my caregroup members even more and I would really want to thank them for encouraging me throughout this year!

Bing Quan - You really helped me as a armor bearer for our group but I know you can do much
more you know! Its just that you never try your ultimate best! Jia you!

Donovan - You are versatile team player, can sing, can play guitar, can act, can do so many other
things and you really add value and colours to our group!

I spent almost the first 6 days of the new year sick as I had a fever during the first few days of the year. Whoo, what a way to start the new year.

I am interested to find out and learn more about future and options and this website has a few short lessons which teaches on how to use such financial instruments.

Lessons are well structured with objectives in every lesson and it takes like 20 to 30 mins to complete one lesson. You can do it while you have ur meals. Haha

Thought of that everyone would faces alot of problems at work or personal problems. I learnt that we should learn to departmentalize our problems and when we are at work, focus on our work problems and when we are at our own personal times, likewise. Or else, I feel it will not be effective for us to work when we face all of our problems at one go. I am not saying we are running away from our problems, but it is just that it is a more efficient way of managing our problems i felt. :)

Street Evangelizing

Attended peter treoung's evangelizing class on sunday morning at church office and after the lesson ended, we straight away went to do hands on of what we had learnt earlier to share the gospel to people on the street.

This is also the first time I did this and initially I was quite scared but after you get pass the first 20 seconds of your conversations with the person, words just came out of my mouth like niagara falls. Haha

I believe the holy spirit used me throughout this session and in my team, Ritchie got a convert and john and I got a potential visitor for service. :)

BACK FROM LEADERSHIP CAMP!

What I enjoyed most was the workshops and interaction period with other campus leaders. This really gave me a new insight on what is happening on other campuses. Especially chatted with James, Xiu Zhen and Jolene from DI and discussed with them the common problems we faced in our caregroup and how we went about to solve it.

Got to know more leaders like Jeremy Kiu, Lemmuel, Kar Chun, Ser Meng, Luke, Shuh Fen, Magdalene, Kevin, Nehemiah and some that I just can't recall to write it down. Haha :(

PIE KIA

Just now on my way to buy ticket for the show "painted Skin", I bumped across this shop selling pies call pie kia. I think the name is very creative and the aroma of the ham, cheese, mushroom and bake crust diffused into the space of air I was breathing and hooking me to the shop to take a look. And guess what, there is a promotion! A big pie for only $1.50 and the usual price was $2.80. Brought one to try first then after finish it, I brought another one. Haha and ate finish it too.

I would like to recommand the ham and cheese pie!

Sunday Service

I attended the sunday service yesterday and our church invited pastor simon eng, a church elder from the hope movement to teach us about tent making.

In short, tent making simply means going to another country to work or to set up a business but at the same time doing God's work, which is to plant churches and to evangelise. This model is more effectively in a sense the mulitplication is faster compared to the conventional missionary model whereby the church will support the missionary to the foreign land. In this tent making model, the missonary him or herself have to work to support their own funding and therefore enabling the church to focus more resources on other expertise.

Attended service yesterday with donovan, bing quan, john and bin hao and liting's caregroup! After service we went to le meridian to have our lunch and we sat there for quite some time to chit chat even after we have finish our meals. Got to know bin hao even better and also lost to donovan on our winning eleven! Haha. Liting also kept laughing at my saying i am winnie the pooh. Haha

After that, bing quan, bin hao and I went to watch bangkok dangerous. Its a pretty decent show but I would not watch it a second time because it is quite predictable. Haha. Then after the movie ends, timing wise is alredy 7 plus! haha. so we just parted and went home. However, I felt yesterday was very fruitful as I got to got to know bin hao and fellowship with bing quan and donovan even better. :)

2 Years Anniversary to this Blog?

Haha, the age of this blog is close to the age of my spiritual journey. Haha. It was two years ago whereby I accepted Lord Jesus Christ as my lord and saviour and also it was 2 years ago whereby I created this blog. Haha. Cool Analogy?

I spent quite some time reading my past entries and I am scared of myself. I am scared of how vulgar and self centered and jealous I was in the past. I decided not to cover up my unglamarous side because I want to show to the people around me how the Lord has change me throughout these 2 years and my past blog entry can give you a idea of how I was like in the past and I hope this can be a testimony to people who have yet to have a relationship with Christ. :)

i got an a for my audit! Hooray! Thank God for answering my prayer when i was so exhausted at the point of time preparing the stores and document and the dip of strength u gave me was sufficent for me to tide through.

Recently, i have encountered this problem of mine. I have been angry at times. Why so? Frankily speaking is because when someone needed help frm me, i try to put myself in the person's shoe and put out the best i can offer to help because if i want to do something, mights well do it with quality or esle dont it at all. So when i require help back at times, these people dont put me in their pirority like the way i treated their problems, and dont give me a satisfied answer. :( i tried to give myself an audit too. Am i expecting too much frm then because i put in my best to help them and expect the same? Or i would nt have been so angry if i didint help them in the first place so when they treated me like tis, the impact will nt be so huge? But tis incident will nt stop me frm putting my best into helping others but just frustrated at times.

Haha, why did I tittled my current blog entry a "Bombing of Events".

If you have realise, I haven't been blogging for quite some time due to the fact I have been quite busy lately due to camp and church activities with camp activities taking up most of my time.

Firstly, in camp I have been busy preparing for my internal and external audit. Making sure my store is in tip top condition and making sure all the documents are in place and these are not an easy feat as there are alot of things I need to do in order to be counted as a high and good standard by my superiors in camp. Firstly came the external auditors then came the internal auditors and most important, I want to thank God as for both audits, my store got a score of A, the best I can ever get for this grading. Whoohoo! Thank God.

Next time is my insurance module 9 exam, I took it like 2 weeks ago and before that I really need to make time to mug mug and mug. Its been since in poly last year that I last mug for my exams and didint expect that even in army I need to mug. When I was doing the exam towards the end, I cheekily peeked to the person beside me and he was at his last question and how this exam works in that when you finish all your questions you can just click end exam and whether you pass or fail will just come out and the person beside me click end exam, he failed. Suddenly, my heart felt very heavy and I told God this "God, I really do not want to fail because I don't want to re mug again and I really want to pass this time!" then whenever I do not know how to answer a question, I prayed to God awhile before attempting to answer the question again. And God is really faithful to me and I PASSED THE EXAM!

Today is a particularly fruitful sunday.

Because other than spending time to rest at home, I met with my fellow NS CLs (Terence, Wei Siang and Jovin) to discuss about how can we organise a outreach event to connect non-believers to know christ. Will update more when we have a concrete plan.

Today I had a personal convert, he is none other than Felix. Really happy for him, before i met the fellow CLs, I met up with him for a chat and took this opportunity to share with him the gospel. Amen!

Been really busy for the past two weeks, mostly involvement in army. Nevertheless, tough time won't last and I learned that as long as you endure it, you will become stronger compared to the past. For example; there is stock taking in my camp and we had to complete many tasks in a short amount of time and we did it. You know, God never fails to be by my side to help me.

Attended CLC2 this afternoon and the course did refreshed me on the hows and why of being a care leader and also helping us to think deeper into our roles as a CL. Most important thing I learn is that I am responsible for my own spiritual growth and I need to grow so that I can feed my sheep and therefore I have to be discipline and strict about it.

After that went for service and the praise and worship and again never disappointing as I enjoyed it very much especially having the chance to praise and thank God for the things he blessed and planned for me.

After service I had leader's meet hold my colin involving the ns and sp leaders whereby he challenge us again for the church's vision and also for us to impact our group. I feel that there are so many things I haven't tried to do as a care leader and I really want to complete my long list of wish list to do as a care leader.

After the meet wei siang and I went to carrefour and we brought durian because it only cost $1 per box (those Styrofoam those kind), and thank God, those are not lousy and they are delicious. I brought them home and shared with my dad, I felt a sense of achievement as I shared this delicious dish with my dad and i can see the joy in his face. This can also apply to our relationship with our leaders. We should not only wait for our leaders to take initiative but before they do, we can also share their burden by taking initiative too and also constantly pray for them!

I watched the dark knight recently, and I am in awe of the joker. The actor is simply outstanding!

Potter's Hand

Just as I though that my life is going to be peaceful and I will still be striving to do my ministry work dilligently and with faith and courage and commitment. Status quo changes really fast and
I got to know my Dad lost his job due to a complicated issue. I want to thank God for that.

Haha, you must be wondering, how come I thank God for a thing like this?

Because my dad made a mistake 2 years ago, and only until recently whereby the verdict is being given and my dad has to receive his punishment. And I believe its part of God's plan
because if given two years ago i would still be a student and studying and therefore the
impact on me would be much greater compared to me now i can humbly say a stronger self
with God's support in my life that I can take such things positive and even better. In the meanwhile, i am not broding over this issue and not doing anything. In fact I am studying privately how to be a financial advisor and sitting my first exam in august 25th. I have three papers in total. So i can share my dad's burden and support my family.

This is really a unexpected route that I had planned for because I always wanted to be a accountant and not a finacial advisior. Haha, but I believe in God's plan and therefore I will attempt for this route. :)

Today is ESS and I am very excited to watch the performances and of course to know new faces that has come and join the community.

This week has been a challenge to me as God tested me on Two occasions.

1) I told my grandpa I had water baptized! ( He then became cold towards me) But I am happy that I proclaimed my faith in front of everyone and in the bible it says:

Hebrews 11:8 " It was by faith that Abraham obeyed" Means Obedience is an act of continous faith.

2) I got into a arguement with my aunt over my relationship with God. She disagreed with some of my christianity doctrines but I have to do what I have to which is to tell her the truth which is not pleasant to hear if you are a non-believer. Haha.

I have passed the test and waiting God to give me more to endeavour!

Vision

God gave me a vision.

A vision that the world is ending.

Its not that I have nothing to do then I came up with this story.

Look at the recent natural disasters in recent years (tsunami in aceh, typhoon in mymmar, earthquake in china), compared to the history, are there any disasters so massive like these?

People are dying of starvation but yet we are not in a war. The last time u heard numerous people dying of starvation is during the world war 2. Wheres the world now? Food prices are increasing so steeply.

Riots at nepal, malaysia for example. Some dissatisfied with their government and some at rising crude oil prices.

What have the world become to?

The above I mentioned certainly are indicators of the world ending. Believe me, NOW is the beginning of the end times.

My message is directed to the Christians. WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!

There are so many people left unsaved! We can't rest yet! We need to work even harder! harder! harder!

Or else judgement day is coming. Many people will go to HELL.

EVANGELISM SHOULD BE OUR TOP PIRIORITY!

Challenge Your Limits 2

Haha, came back from challenge your limits 2 last sunday. Was really happy to be part of my team called Alfredo. We never really gave up although we lost the 2nd,3rd and 4th challenge to the same team. We continued to battle on and did our best in everything we could. In the finale, the top 4 teams will be chosen to fight out at a knock out round in tug of war to determine the winner, we lost but I just felt the sense of achievement fighting along with this team. Haha, came back with aching back and arms. Will be looking out for challenge your limits 2 again.

Mother's Day Special Service

Today went off to meet my guys with a very tired mind. Don't know why, I started my day off in a very restless mood. But thank God, my group's core team meet is very sucessful as we plan for the next month what the caregroup is going to do and what should we achieve. wow!

The service is very interested and heart warming as there is one video showing andrew's mum giving a testimony on his son before and after accepting christ. Once I got home, I also immediately went to ask my mum if you were to go on stage in church to give me a testimony, what would you say? So she told me and was glad that she seen some change in me. I also brought her a mother's day card from hope resource and she told me this is the best gift she ever recieved from me. Wow. Really amazing.

After service, went to play lan gaming with jovin, elisha, kok how and the list goes on. Haha, first time i lost to jovin in comand and conquer 3! Haha, not fair jovin! Rematch! Haha, just joking.

Unexpected Nightouts

Now is 7.50pm and i just got home not long ago from camp and later need to return to camp by 10.00pm. Haha. Although its just a short one or two hours time at home, I still want to come home because the feeling of coming home is just so nice and comfortable. Haha.

Before I came home, I went to brought some bread for my mum cause sometimes she may be hungry and I didin't get my favourite egg tart because I was quite full from the dinner I ate in camp.

When i got home, I cast upon a letter with the NTU logo, in my mind I was thinking, is it the letter I have been waiting for so long? The letter that will tell my fate whether I am going in or not going in to NTU. Haha. I opened the letter and read the first paragraph. Haha, it is a bad letter writing format and it struck into my mind that this is a rejection letter. Haha, I still continue to finish reading the letter so as to make sure I didin't miss any details. Haha.

My mum was really right about me, I didin't have much faith to believe that I will get into the local unis. Last year I got rejected by SMU and this year I got rejected by NTU. I always have this mindset that if I cannot get into those, I will just enroll into SIM. But my mum told me that, I should always tell God what I desire and believe in him that I will get what I pray for. Perhaps in this area I really need some faith booster. I want to pray that I would get the same powerful faith that my mum had for God that healed her from her illnesses. God really magnified my weaknesss and like a soap oprea, previewed and showcase one and each of my weaknesses and where I can improve. Altough sometimes its sad and discouraging to see so many of my weaknessess, I came to realise that God is actually helping me to improve them so that I can be even a stronger person in the future.

I will continue to have faith in God and pray for even more faith to move my own mountains!

Labour Day

Got posted to my new unit 39th SCE for about 1 week already. Beginning to get more adapted into unit life and would want to continue to learn my ropes in surviving well in the camp. I believe God will bring me through this new chapter in my army life. Haha :)

Thank God for the public holiday today that I am able to fellowship with my fellow unit mates in church. Haha, thanks jovin for the wonderful recommandation to the japanese food bazaar at city hall basement (the concept is similar to marche). Didin't bring my camera there, so there is no pictures to share. Haha. Its good to see in the table, sitting all guys who are bonded by two things in common, serving christ and serving the nation. Haha. Really amazing.

After that went to play lan gaming with some of them, and we played command and conquer 3 again. Haha, was really fun as the game graphics and techniques is superb. :)

Through the weeks and months lord, you have taught me how to really be more dependent on you and not myself. Like what people always says, more of you and less of me. I am truly increasingly practising that sentence and devoting more of my decisions onto you and sharing my problems with you lord. :) I will continue to do so my lord. :)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

TODAY IS A BREAKTHROUGH AND JOYFUL DAY FOR MY CAREGROUP TNSB-2

1) WE HAD OUR FIRST (EVERY FIRST) MATURITY CAREGROUP SINCE THE FORMATION OF THIS CG. FANTASTIC JOB GUYS! THOSE PRESENT WERE HAN YEW, BING QUAN, MING KUANG, ROY, CEDRIC and myself. We had intense moment while singing the worship (we sang one desire and refuge), and had close moments while sharing about the holy communion and also teachable moments while I taught my guys how to overcome our problems victoriously! Although the place is bit noisy at times, we didin't feel it as the holy spirit is with us and the noise does not bother us at all. Amen!

I came across this verse in my teachings and find it very meaningful.

It comes from Psalm 34:10

" The Lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing"

It simply means that even the strongest in the community would also face problems but if we continue and faithfully serve the lord, even we are not the strongest among us, the lord will still bless us in his very own ways. Amen! :)

Haha, ytd was thursday and I went to Han Yew's house to practise with him what I will be singing for this saturday's caregroup. Pretty excited about it because this is my first time leading and also meanwhile, I LIKE TO SING. So i really enjoyed my trip at his house. I also learnt also of stuffs like those hand signals from han yew and what kind of style should i sing. Wow, bro! you are really experience. Haha. then he showed me to his computer system and macbook. Wow, macbook is really multi-purposeful. Haha.

Haha, currently down with clough and flu Haha, but still i shall carry on with my entry. Just remember tml I still need to host a ceremony for my unit. Haha, I pray that God will remove of all my illness so that I can perform to my best tml.

Had a wonderful and fruitful coreteam meet with my core team guys, han yew, cedric, bing quan, ming kuang and donovan. Talked about alot of stuffs on how can we improve the caregroup and how to help those who are not doing spiritually well. Haha

Service was excellent with the praise and worship and also teaching from pastor jeff. Then attended the CLM and pastor jasmine shared 7 tips on how to maximise our harvest. Wow, amazing saturday to be spent!

And not forgetting Man utd won arsenal 2-1. Yeah!

I really like the song Hosanna in the hillsong saviour king album, today just can't stop listening to it and repeating the song. Wow!

Another Soul Saved!

Thank God! Yesterday, there is one new brother to our big big family and his name is rui jiong. If you are reading it rui jiong, this is the best decision you had made in your life and really, prepare for a change because God will work wonders in your life.

Two weeks ago, there is also another convert, his name is eddie. Haha, really thank God for the miracles that we have added two new members into the family. From all these, I really learnt that I have to really really depend on God alot because just a touch from him can change alot of things.

Recently, been very busying with caregroup, and also bonding up with my people and also I have piano lesson. Can sense that God is stretching me and continue stretching and sometimes i felt quite tired. But when i start to fellowship with my people, the tiredness just went off and I felt the energy flowing through my body.

Haha, bare with my style of writing as I write what my mind thinks about and so the structure can be quite random.

This past week have been quite a challenge as one of my sheeps decided that he needs a break and wants to leave church. I must admit this is the first time i encountered such a problem and he is the first sheep I have in church, sometimes i felt helpless as in I do not know where in which area I can try to help him because he always do not know it himself too and sometimes perhaps close up to himself. If you are reading this, I hope you can open up to me more. I really pray to God one day you will come back again.

Yesterday after service went to eat at douby exchange the just acia and it was cheap because with a set meal of about $10, you can have free flow of drinks and ice cream! Is it amazing? Haha, then after that i went to play lan gaming with roy and ming kuang and we played like dota, command and conquer 3 and cs, haha. Until 1am then me and roy went home together.

This morning met roy for breakfast and ate pig's trotters and we did a book exchange, i lent him lee strobel's case for christ and he borrowed me smiths wigglesworth the holy spirit. Thanks bro for the book!

God i just want to confess that I am a new leader in church and I really want to pray for more wisdom and also to be more like you lord. Lord i want to pray that I can be your channel of sharing the gospel to non-believers and also to be a channel that protrays you. Lord, there are alot of things that I need to change and I pray that you will continue to work in me o lord. I want to also pray that you would continue to work miracles in those who drifted part from you and I pray that lord you would bring them back into your kingdom o lord, In all this I pray, Amen.

Haha, why do I want to blog about Barack Obama in this entry? He kind of impressed me with his speech delivery and the way his speech entice his supporter's and listener's hearts. I feel that he is the candidate that went through the most challenges before stepping into where he is now. Firstly, he is a black whereby there are still traces of racism in the states and the people do have this mentality that they want a white president because of their mentality black people are second class. Yes, this is not so obvious nowadays but there is still a little voice in their hearts due to their egos. Haha, but i feel he overcamed these hearts and they voted for him!Secondly, he is always the black horse even when he started to contest for the presidentials all the way till the caucases, he is really determined. Lastly, is his 10th straight win in winconsin against hillary rodham clinton and I have a strong feeling he will be the democratic presidential nominee.

Usually, I have my great supports for republicans, perhaps due to their pro-business policies as whenever an republican gets elected for president, stock prices will rise and thats good for investors but as for a democrats, they are more pro for environment and workers welfare which is as important. This time round, I do support the democrats to win because I feel the war in the middle east should come to an end because its dragging the us economy behind and thats not good for countries like singapore too. And global warming has been a great issue these few years due to developing countries like china and big players like the us emitting great carbon dioxide a nd lets put the pro businesses aside first and save our mother earth before thinking of expanding our businesses.

Was walking along loyang ave towards old tampines road to take bus 29 to the aloha changi chatlet and I saw this house standing out from the rest. I can say I really liked the design of this house and so I took some photo down. ( This house got two wings, and I somehow like this kind of concept, Cool!)

Went to steamboat dinner at Chinatown's Chongqing lao hou gou on christmas eve with TNS guys and NP guys. Total is 24 or 25 of us man, we occupied almost half of the place. Haha, the good thing is that the guys enjoyed the dinner and we share our testiomonials to conclude this year and last but not least the gift exchange thingy. Haha, my the gift exchange I got was a box of chocolates and I want to thank my shepherd Raymond for giving me the book by john c maxwell, thank you!

When was taking 7n back home and it went past orchard road, I saw the whole street was badly littered all around with plastic bags, used spray cans and etc. The condition was really bad, suddenly, I can't help but feel a sense of shame and sadness to those fellow singaporeans who contributed to all these. I mean, each and everyone of us should be responsble for our own litter and if everyone can have such a mindset, then we can have a cleaner environment. I mean, six years of education and most people would went through their secondary and tertiary education and this kind of behaviour is the end product? Those foreign workers who came to singapore to work and thinking Singapore is a well cultured society then I feel that we have proved them wrong man. I pity the cleaners on duty today cleaning orchard road.....

Six months Flashback

Haha, Six Months passed in a flash and I had passed out from BMTC last wednesday and it is truly a unregretable experience. I want to thank all my bunk mate for providing all the support to me during this six months and also not forgetting the commanders who imparting with the basic knowledge to us. Thank you all!

Aside from army, I also learnt to know more about myself during army. I know that there are still alot of aspects in my life I ought to improve on and I thank God for his plan that made me possible to reflect on all these points. I must continue to adapt a learning posture in God's kingdom so that I can continue to grow.

I admit, there are times whereby I feeling spiritually low because of my caregroup partially due to some issues. The reason I reflected on why I was affected is because this is my first time exposed to such a situation and really, I do not know how to react. If you guys are wondering what problem it is, ok lah, I will reveal. Some of my church brothers who just received salvation through Christ started not to come church. This truly affected me because I am the one responsible for their spiritual growth and yet such a thing happen. I often ask myself, do I have a problem with myself? Whats wrong with me? Why am I the common factor? I just don't understand? I came to realise, somethings just can't be help and what I can do now is to seek remedy d I pray to God he would bless me a miracle on regard to the status of these two brothers as I hope to bring them back in your kingdom oh God. Grant me the right words so that I can speak to them and enlighten them as much as I can. Thank God, Thank God, Thank God!

I will never fail to thank my spiritual shepherd Raymond and spiritual sheep Kan Yi. You two play a important part in my spiritual family as well. You two encouraged me by standing by my side and encouraging me when I need it the most. For this, I am very grateful and may God bless you two in all your undertakings too! God bless you two!

I have another prayer to oh God, I want to invite more friends to church o God. Do bless me with the opportunity and correct words and everything essential so that I can bring them to church. I really want to do this for you God! I want to save more souls for you God!

2007 is ending and 2008 is beginning, I do pray for a new journey into the new year and may the church continue to grow and grow and grow.

Let me share with you a story about my past.

When I was young, I couldn't understand why my father reactions sometimes. He would say words that hurt your feeling or say wrong words but in the end he will get things done.

Ironically, I feel that I may have abit of his characteristics in me. Sometimes I know it myself I just said something I shouldn't had said it, but still I would complete the task given to me, example wise, its hard for me to name it cause its very complex. But I do pray to God that, he can mould me into a better person and I am willing to walk with God odediently.

Block Leave!!!!

Haha, yup its my block leave this week and really thank God for it because of this leave, i was able to attend the leadership camp for tp/np and ns at the sembawang boys and girls brigade campsite and also the team ministry and wam night at nexus on monday. Wow, I think God really has a plan for me and this block leave is not just for me to stay at home and laze around. There are alot of things for me blog but I can't remember everything in one shot so I just blog whatever comes into my mind.

I came to realise that in some areas of my walk with God, I needa improve on it. Like praying in public, I just can't seem to find the correct words to come into my mouth and I want to pray to God that I can improve in this area. I think this is a very important area because praying is the only way that we can communicate with God and sometimes praying in specific helps too and so i really pray that God can give me the skill and technicality of public praying.

I also want to thank God for the spiritual growth that he has blessed me and I will continue to work really hard, work on the teachings I had been taught and pray for God to be more participative in my life too!

I want to praise Kan Yi my sheep for his improvement in his openess. Really, from the day I first saw him until now, he really opens up alot more and I really thank God for this change in him. I really hope that he would also be trained up to be a faithful armor bearer for me and walk with me together in my walk in the lord's kingdom and together enjoy the fruits of it.

I want to thank God for my shepherd raymond. He has always been around to provide me with advises when I really have no solution and I really thank God for him. I would also like to pray for him because he has been working, studying and serving God and his ministry at the same time and so I pray that God can continue to provide him his daily bread and strength to conquer his challenges and make him the controller of his life!

I am looking forward to this holiday because I could really spent more time reading God's word, spend time with my family and relatives, go out and walk walk and relax, outing with my bunk mates for dota and steamboat and just simply resting at home.

Motivating Saturday

Why do I say yesterday (today's sunday) is a motivating day is because again for the second only time, I have both of my sheeps (jeremy and kan yi) seating with me by my both side. You can't experience that feeling man, its better than having a girl seating next to you. I am really happy about them coming for service especially jeremy as I had prayed throughout the week for his attendance and God answered my prayer. Thank God! I really hope jeremy would take up the challenge and grow spiritually in God's kingdom and also so that I can enjoy life with him in heaven. Haha.

I think God is really empowering me step by step, increasing my roles in the pastoral side and also in the info counter ministry side. Lord o Lord, I remember making this dangerous prayer about growth and I will still be sticking to my words lord.

As a nsmen, I feel that saturday service is very important for christians because for myself, everyweek i book out of camp, i feel spiritually not that high, because of all the tekaning sessions and tough training and just normally being in camp. Thats why I feel church is my spirit koisk whereby I can go too everyweek to re-fuel my spirit and this is how I can be on fire. Indeed after a good session of praise and worship really delights my heart for God and I do feel joyful and victorious for God too!

I want to pray to God for continue growth for my caregroup and in regards to care group members and for more of them wanting to take up core team roles in the care group lord o lord. As saf has a motto, "every soldier a leader". In God's kingdom,i hope to see "every christian, a life transformer" Amen!

Yet Another Week

This week bookout's seem to be fully utilised. Booked out on friday and so went swimming at tampines swimming complex for an hour and swam for 11 laps.

Saturday went to church and and had a meeting on the leadership camp after dinner.

Sunday had an hour of lesson and went to practise it for 2 hours. Wow, time really flies.

Then after that, went home, packed my room, packed my clothes, tidy up my computer files, planning events, reading teaching and printing some stuffs took almost most of my time already. But i feel satisfied with the usage of my time.

I also want to pray for jeremy (my sheep) he got sick after he came back from guard duty and I hope he recover fasts so he can accompany me in camp (HAHAHAHA).

I also want to pray for growth spiritually so that I can have the ability to teach and educate the word of God to my sheeps. I really want them to grow together with me and one day they will become shepherd of others and thats my direction for them. Lets go on this path together man!

3 Months Soldier

I feel as if a few entries ago i blogged about being a one month soldier and now, its 3 months!

Started my first piano lesson today and my fingers wasn't really that agile. As in, when i pay this key, my other fingers tend to go up and not stay on the keyboard, but I really did enjoy every minute of the lesson. I look foward to the next lesson!

Yesterday was church anniversary and I was held at the downtown east D'Marqee. Great place because my house is comparatively near. The praise and worship team from bangkok was really super high. Never had I experience such breathless situations in our normal tertiary service. The pastor from hope bangkok leading the praise and worship is a 57 year old man and he too jump around and shout like a 17 year old. Thank God for him.

Came home last night and engaged with a short discussion with my mum. Whats her recommanded requirement for my future spouse. Most importantly, she must be a christian. Then how thinking for awhile, I realise it is true like what my mum had said.

Benefits of a christian having a christian spouse:

1) Do not have to undergo all the rituals and traditional supertitions of other religion beliefs of your parents in law.

2) Your spouse would encourage you to pay your thithes.

3) This would all reduce the possibility of a arguement.

Its Official! I completed 2 Months of National Service!

Lost 15kg.

Just got a sudden thought while listening Way back into Love of the Music and Lyrics OST. Thought of playing the piano and singing it to my wife (if possible my wife sings the female part) and it just looks some beautiful in my mind.

Was at Indocine along Wisma and got to try the cocktail "Mai-Tai", not bad.

Another Weekend

Went to watch harry potter: the order of the phoenix last weekend and its not that good as what I had expected. Good graphics and costumes but poor story boarding and linkage. There were changes to the script too compared to what I had read from the book and I felt there were redundant lines like "You got to admit dumbledore got style", it sounds weird because people living at that dimension won't speak like this and so the whole movie looks abit weird. Would give a 2.5 out of 5. Just hope the next two movies would be better.

However, I am pretty amaze by the character luna lovegood and I like the way this character is protrayed in the movie. Good Job!

Church sermon yesterday is about mirror mirror on the wall: and how good is really good. I find it practically usefull as I am someone who likes to be among the top in most of the things I do. So this sometimes gets addictive and you will start comparing but you will always find someone better than you. This is perhaps part of God's plan to teach you about humility. For example, I thought I was quite proficient with polishing boots, but there will be a bunkmate who will be shiner than me. Another example would be, I thought I ate very fast, but it turns out a dozen of my bunkmates eats faster than me. I got the point, that nomatter what, there will still be someone better than you, unless you are really perfected until a certain extreme. I am also happy to learn that God accepts who we really are and he loves us 100%.

1 Month Soldier

Time passes very quickly and I have been a soldier for 1 month. It won't be long after I blog about me being a soldier for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and 2 years.

Recently, not been feeling well even after taking medicine it was not full recovery. I miss last saturday's service because I was not feeling well, my shepard raymond tried to encourage me to come but still I did not rise up to take that challenge. Nevertheless, I made it for yesterday's service but I was at the info counter. I began to feel more liking to having duty at the info counter, I just like to be on duty! After duty went to have dinner with my caregroup and we joined jeremiah's caregroup for some sharing session. It was really spot on! I couldn't believe it. Jeremiah was talking about Big J who was discharged today afternoon and he was on clutches. Despite the pain and inconvinence, he made it for service. Thinking back on the last week I didin't come, I feel terribily guilty. Then raymond looked at me and I straight away know his meaning. Come to think about it, why can't I been stronger and came for the service and be like big J? I think I have been reading the word lesser since I been enlisted to army but I know it is not a good reason not to read the word. This is my first trial since enlisting in army. I pray to God that I can overcome it.

Went to eat steamboat with my army friends at 2am at geylang's zhongqing hou gou, nothing special lah, its just normal! Its the fellowship that is outstanding! Haha, don't be scared if you look at the photo below because some of them look scary.

Confinement Period Over

Amazing 2 weeks has went past just like a blink of the eye.

Progressive training took place and it was still manageable. Met all sorts of people, some abit more gayish, some with a low tolerance of anger, some with a quiet and emotional type and some just simply crazy.

In this 2 weeks, I felt very blessed by God because I saw the people around me fall one by one as in feeling sick. Thank God! You are the utlimate provider!

In this 2 weeks, I had alos experienced cough, headache, abrasions, bodyache,flu and thank Jesus for all the healing miracles that he had performed on me and I really thank you again!

The saga continues...

The nine of us (Renqiang, Chee Wei, Jefferson, Lester, Avia, Rebecca, Desmond Tan, Kok Beng and myself) went to Quality Hotel Singapore to have buffet dinner (second time in a month for me at the same place). The attractive part of this buffet dinner is that its only $9.80 ++ and $11 nett. In my opinion is the food there is value for $11 and so its still worth it. They serve local spread and have ice cream, sea-coconut and ice kacang for desert. Free flow of orange juice with plup and ice plain water. Haha, catch up alot with my poly classmates and lester became our suan topic of the evening, but lester has become like part of our group because without him, our group would feel incomplete as he always bring lame jokes or actions to our table and I am really delighted about it always. Haha, and I had lots of ice cream.

Its erm 3am on monday morning, I woked up because I heard my Mp3 player dropped beneath my bed and I went to took it up and since then, I can't sleep. Walked to my dad's room to switch on the tv and its HBO channel. Then this movie ElizabethTown, just caught my eye. Its not a big production can say its quite budget, but it just catches my attention. This movie starring orlando bloom and kirsten dunst, this two people just met on the plane and since then they become good friends and things happen here and there, yeah, its those typical movies talking about a journey or process and in the end, the two of them gets together. I didin't caught this movie when it was shown on the big screen but its still a good deal to watch it on dvd or at home. I think kirsten dunst acted well in this movie, she protrays her character well.

UNSW Singapore Campus Closing Down!

Haha, I was personally shocked and upset upon hearing the University's Singapore Campus to be shutting down by June. Singapore came a long way here and it just took awhile for such things to happen.

The closure of UNSW asia also means the increase demand level of places in local universities making it tougher to get entry. This would affect me considering I am those borderline cases for local universities applicants.

Working at parkway parade area is fantastic, because you get to try all the good food here at the hawker. Below is the list of must try:

The Vineyard Man

Finish this korean drama in 7 Hours. Haha, thats the way I watch dramas. Really nice, the story is about a girl Yoon Eun Hye (Princess Hours) being told by his distant relative if she were to work in the vineyard for 1 year, he would give her the vineyard which worth about 20 billion won. So given her money minded character, she went and alot of interesting things happen and in the end she grown attached to the vineyard and fell in love with Oh Man Seok who is a worker in the vineyard (The guy in the picture). This drama teaches you more about growing grapes and also how patient and hardwork will lead to good outcomes.

Woked up late as usual (but not late for work, just too late to catch the bus), headed down to catch a taxi (prayed to God on the way that I can meet a Hyundai Sonata Taxi), and so I cross the overhead bridge and walk down the steps and walking to the side of the road and a Hyundai Sonata Taxi just appeared in front of me. The Sonata Taxi don't usually pop up at my place and thank God for providing me a comfortable journey to work, dear God, you are my sole provider!

Haha.

I wanted God to know more of God's plan for me, so yesterday night's QT i decided to read the book of Revelations (didin't take a long time to complete), and read about the seals and the plagues that mankind is going to suffer and how God is going to truimph in the end. After reading this book, I have became more God fearing upon reading all the disasters and plagues.

I prayed to God about my intention of going to be a backup singer, and to tell me if I am not ready, and today I got a clough. Haha, perhaps its still not time yet. But i will continue to walk and see what God have in store for me.

Qamarul invited me to his workplace colleague's house to have dinner. This colleague is from nepal and he used to be a teacher there, the reason he came to Singapore to work is because the pay here is 5 Times higher. His cooking is superb, vegetable curry, special marinated chicken and chicken wings, curry cauliflower (taste superb) and lots lots lots of rice. Really great to know such a good cook! Would like to meet him again!

Boring @ work

Actually i quite prefer my new job over my previous job because i have more 'freedom" in this job, and my job is pretty simple, just call, call and call.

And I have my own workdesk and laptop computer. Pretty good working environment to be in, but unfortunately, this is just temporary job and I am going inside army soon!

Work up late today and took a cab down to work! It cost me $12, because there was a jam at ECP all the way to ubi exit. Haha, sigh.

Reviewing the goals I had set at the beginning of the holidays.

1) I brought 2 books wrote by christian authors but only managed to read 1 of them and still not complete and the other one just one tenth of it. Haha, hope to finish reading it before i enter NS.

2) Brought one friend to church (targeted 5), his name is John and I am glad he is quite enthusiastic about my church. Haha

3) Hoping to go for a small vacation before I enter NS but have to consider whether do I have enough $.

Haha, life is pretty good for me!

Sheparding from Eilton is definately a new experience and I hope to listen to more of Gods word through him, he is also definately a caring shepard as he calls me up and chats with me to find out more about my updates and also reviewing my contacts that I bring to church.

My new caregroup is also a new experience because I have a new group of cg mates and the way we conduct CG is also bit different and I am enjoying every part of it.

My prayer from God has really been coming through the months. I have been praying to God to use me to glorify his kingdom and to spread the gospel. And I had met up with one of my friends who has rashes and I prayed for her and she recovered! Amen! God has been using my very often in his kingdom. Took part in the cast for whokilledsanta2 (a youth dna event) and being one of the characters in the game. Next I became a core team member of my Caregroup and helped to organise games and make a good start to our CG weekly. Coming on, I went on to help in the organising of the gen-next 07 camp (campfire) and learnt also from it too! I am not done yet, then I managed to get into the info-counter ministry at hope church for tertiary session and I am loving every part of it now. The last one I did was to do hosting for urban groove 2 with pei xin and I was not very familar with it at the start but my competent partner helped me through the journey and accomadate alot to my mistakes told me where I can improve. Looking back at all these, woah how much I had completed in 8 months of being a christian and God, I am proud of the things you had done through me and I hope to do more for you because I had dedicate dmy life for you since the day you performed miracles for my mum and remove her of her sickness. Dear God, you are the greatest of all! King of Kings! And above all!

My next task would be the audition for being a backup singer, can't really be a backup singer for now because still not in the core team yet but I promise and I am determine to keep growing and I have that vision that one day I will sing for church you know in tertiary service. Now still thinking what kind of songs to sing, and need to find the lyrics soon to practise it!

You know the interested thing I had found out from all the temporary staff working with me in my office?

1 is form City harvest church, 1 is from emmanuel pentecost church, 1 is from chairs methodist church, 2 are from another catholic church and I am from hope church! Woah! Simply amazing!

Its been almost 2 months since I had blogged! Was lazy to blog tough, haha. Many things happen really!

Worked at eurocopter after my exams and thought it could last me until the end of may. but left the company around early april because i was not provided proper table and chair to do my work. Felt not respected and I resigned. Did not regret!

Currently, working in IDG communications pte ltd as a public admin assistant, calling high executives or managers and asking them whether are they interested in coming for our conferences. Haha, very thirsty tough!

Urban groove 2 has just ended and I did learnt alot of things u know. I did not think myself to be a competent host as I was quite shy at times. But i still did it! During the 2 weeks of urban groove, I was plauge by the combination of cough,flu and headache and really this is a challenge for me to finish my hosting through this rough walk. Luckily, I have friends and family to provide me with a prayer and God really bless me thoughout the whole event and that I still have that minimal energy to survive it through! Singers were great and best part is that audiences are also great!

Its my former nyp class bbq on last friday, saturday, sunday and we had great fun! Most of our classmates came and one particularly who did not came which I felt disappointed was desmond lai. The reason he gave was that it is wasting of money and he have no time for it (he army pes c lor and somemore he also not working), i remembered the final semester where we surpised him by buying a nice cake for his bdae and this is how he treats his friends. Although he study really well (he got a diplomia in merit), but his EQ ( nope, should put as people skills, EQ too hurting) is really very very low. Even you get a degree in NUS or NTU or whatever u , without people skills you won't go far, trust me! Other than the des lai incident, rest of the events is pretty enjoying. First time went to escape theme park and was utterly dissapointed because the theme park is like shit! only the gold kart track is enjoyable but the rest is like shit! Alot of the rides are also closed (due to accidents) but they did not decrease the price still. BBQ is the best, great food and friends! After bbq, we played some games (thanks to kerlyn for your suggestion) and we played number guessing. Lester was the first to bow out of the game (he's bit tipsy already) and followed by desmond tan (he damm funny lah). Avia was also not talking normally, she was shouting!

A blink in the eye and 3 years just pass without waiting for me. Life in nyp is definately great and I will miss everything. Highlights in my 3 years would definately being the President of SBM CLUB and winning awards at the TEP awards. Those that I had mentioned earlier are all tangible stuffs but intangilble stuffs are also as important like my bunch of friends in NYP. My best friend in class Jefferson. This is the first time that I also met my best Malay friend Qamarul and he is like a brother. Never in my life, has I been so on good terms with a Malay, its really a breakthough! I hope my results will be enough for me to get into SMU where i hope this is the key to the next chapter of my life.

Wow, 1...2....3.....4. I have been a christian for 7 months! Time really passes very fast! Thanks to my caregroup members and espacially my shepard who has been guiding me in this spiritual path. I also pray to God for him to use me more because I want to see myself having more breakthrough to unprecedented level for GOD! I never regretted stepping into the train that leads to heaven. I found out my buddy had backslided. She is not from my church but from NYP. It just shocked me, because she is the one who really the one who somehow indirectly lead me to Christ. I need to do something to bring her back, and I pray to God once to give me the opportunity to bring her to church. And i asked her yesterday whether can i date her to church?
And she said YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Its happier than winning TOTO because I have won eternal currency given by bank of heaven. :) I hope i will be your light to Christ buddy! I am determined to do so! Don't let your 9 years of servanthood into waste!
There is some conflict too in my caregroup, and I really need God's wisdom and help to solve this because it seems both sides my different ideas. Please GOD! We are suppose to evangelise others and I hope we can gel up together again and be the Leading example of Temasek Guys.

I went to rackey my workplace on sunday cause I scared I wiill be lost on that day. Wow, the office quite cool, got a helicopter hanger there because the company that I am goin to work in helps to assemble helicopters!!!!!!!!! Zoommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Haha, looks like my holiday will be a meaningful one!

What a relief, I am done with 4 papers and left with consumer banking. Hooray, i am at least having some joy now! Frankily speaking, I do not need to wait to wait until the results are out and I think I know how I going to fare. I predict my pfpl and caa will not give me good grades (in my context, good grades means b or above). But still, I hope my fringe results will pull me into SMU. I really really really do want to get in! Got to submit all my documents before 1st of April to complete registration. Great to Go!

Recently, been addicted to the 7pm Channel U show where Ella of SHE acted as a guy in order to get into a boys school to see her love. Haha, and the song you are listening on my blog, is one of the songs of this show and I am too addicted to the song. I think I listen to it at least 20 times a day recently. I been very gluttony during the study break, my study pals are ruffles (5 packets), Double Cheeseburger (10 burgers), Yeos Packet Drinks (2 dozen) and lots of other stuffs, omg.

I found a job to work in a European MNC who manufactures helicopters based in Loyang Industrial Park. Going to sign the contract after having lunch with my classmates after tml's last paper. And I am going to start work on Monday, yes its next monday! Haha, i need to start my funding for my cambodia trip soon.

God has been answering my miracles so fruitfully in recent times and I am I am very glad he did and i am going to share my happy season with all of you.

Miracle 1

Dad is a commisson based agent and he earned a 5 digits salary last month and was able to clear most of his credit card debt. He owed $13k.

Miracle 2

Citibank decided to give my Dad a 50% discount if my dad pays his debt in full. His debt before discount was $26k. I Really Thank God! Thank you!

Miracle 3

I expect myself not to get any money from dad to buy CNY clothes as I know the financial situation i am in, but Dad still gave me $100 to buy some stuffs. Thanks Dad!

Woah, time seems to pass very fast as I had also stepped down as the president of the SBM CLUB.

Still remember vividly in my mind the interview I went in order to get into the club. It was then the president kelisa and the publicity head sunny interviewing me. Got a relief call a few days later from kelisa as she told me I was selected and I was like so happy!

It was fun to be in the club and really got to know alot other sub coms members and we have had alot of fun going through camps and also doing events.

I remember that my first event is to plan a trip to a old folks home and we went Ren Ci Hospital at novena to spread the joy of the lunar new year!

Later on, was being voted by my peers to lead the club and 1 year just went off without waiting for me!
